Saregama India reports stronger performance in the first quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit rising year-on-year by about 40%. NDTV states net profit increases 40.6% to Rs 51.6 crore for the June quarter, compared with Rs 36.7 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The Free Press Journal similarly reports a 42.09% YoY rise, with net profit at ₹51.88 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026 versus ₹36.51 crore a year earlier.

Both reports attribute the improvement to higher revenues. NDTV says revenue surges 27% to Rs 264 crore. Free Press Journal places consolidated revenue from operations at ₹263.60 crore, up from ₹206.77 crore in Q1 FY26, and notes total consolidated income of ₹267.81 crore. The company’s expenses also increase year-on-year, reaching ₹196.09 crore from ₹169.95 crore.
