Multiple outlets report that Apple is prototyping new, larger display sizes for the next iPhone generation tied to the 20th anniversary lineup. According to a Chinese leaker known as Digital Chat Station, Apple is sampling two different screen panels: one around 6.4 inches and another around 7 inches. The smaller 6.4-inch display is said to be intended for the “iPhone 20 Pro,” while the 7-inch panel is associated with the larger “iPhone 20 Pro Max.”
The reports also suggest the display expansion would cover the broader 20th anniversary lineup while keeping the current aspect ratio. They add that the devices may adopt an all-new borderless design, including curved glass on all sides to create a near edge-to-edge look.
MacRumors further notes that this follows earlier claims and a Bloomberg report indicating Apple has been working on two iPhone 20-related sizes.
