Jigawa State’s Executive Council approves a ₦3.5 billion loan to support deposits for intending 2027 Hajj pilgrims. The decision is aimed at enabling early compliance with requirements of NAHCON, the Nigerian agency responsible for managing Hajj operations. In addition to the loan approval, the state government also awards a ₦277 million contract for renovations to the Reformatory School in Kafin Hausa, according to one of the reports.
