Molbio Diagnostics Ltd, a point-of-care diagnostics company, has set a public IPO price band of ₹768–₹807 per share. The offer opens for subscription on August 10 and closes on August 12. The company says anchor investor bidding will begin on August 7. At the lower and upper ends of the band, the IPO is estimated to raise about ₹904 crore to ₹940 crore. The issue includes a fresh share sale of up to ₹200 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of up to 91.66 lakh equity shares by existing shareholders.

Proceeds from the fresh issue are earmarked for capital expenditure, including building infrastructure for an R&D facility/Centre of Excellence and related office space, and for purchasing plant, machinery and equipment for its manufacturing units in Goa and Visakhapatnam. The remainder is intended for general corporate purposes.

The company’s Truenat point-of-care PCR platform supports molecular testing for multiple diseases. Molbio’s shares are scheduled to list on the BSE and NSE on August 17, with book-running lead managers including Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, IIFL Capital Services, Jefferies India and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors.
