The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) extends the application deadline for recruitment to 560 Land Surveyor posts after revising the minimum educational qualifications. KEA allows candidates to submit online applications until August 20, 2026. The last date to pay the application fee is August 21, 2026. The extension follows a change in eligibility criteria, with the Department of Land Survey, Revenue System and Land Records requesting KEA to revise the qualifications and provide additional time for applicants.
Under the revised eligibility, candidates may apply by meeting one of the specified educational requirements. These include engineering or technology degrees, AMIE-qualified engineering candidates, and B.Sc degrees with listed subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication, Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Forestry and Sericulture. AICTE-recognised engineering/technology diplomas are also included. B.Sc candidates with at least one of Mathematics or Physics, and B.Sc Honours holders, are additionally eligible subject to prescribed conditions.
Both outlets report that, besides the qualification amendments and the extended timeline, other aspects of the original recruitment notification remain unchanged.
