The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has warned candidates against a “viral” exam calendar circulating on social media in its name, stating that the notice is fake, misleading and untrue. In its clarification, the commission says the circulating information includes purported dates and details for the Integrated 72nd Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination and other examinations proposed for 2026, but these are not issued by BPSC and should not be relied upon.

BPSC says candidates should follow only information published through its official website and its authorised social media handles. It also appeals to applicants not to circulate or act on unverified examination-date claims, and to stay focused on preparation.

The commission adds that a meeting is scheduled for Friday in the presence of the Chairman, Secretary, Controller of Examinations and other members. The meeting will discuss the conduct of various recruitment examinations, tentative dates, and preparation of the official examination calendar. BPSC indicates that the official calendar will be published on its website after the meeting, with major examinations expected to be considered after the Chhath festival, while some smaller exams may be planned for October, subject to confirmation in the official schedule.
