Bajaj Electricals reports a strong jump in its June-quarter profitability, while revenue growth remains modest. According to multiple outlets, the company’s revenue from operations increases slightly to about Rs 1,089 crore, up roughly 2.3% year-on-year. Consolidated profit increases significantly versus the same quarter last year, with one report citing a net profit of Rs 48.38 crore compared with Rs 0.91 crore in the April–June period a year earlier. Expenses decline, helping margins improve.

Both reports also point to a turnaround in the Consumer Products business, which returns to an operating profit after earlier pressures. NDTV says consumer products turns back into operating profit despite uneven summer demand and input cost inflation, while another outlet reports that Consumer Products posts a positive EBIT margin of 3.9%. Lighting Solutions continues to grow, with NDTV describing momentum and another report citing revenue growth in that segment and an EBIT margin of 6.6%.

Following the results, the company’s shares rise sharply on the day, with one report describing a jump of around 16% in trading.
