Maharashtra’s State CET Cell begins online registration for NEET UG 2026-based counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions under the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the 2026–27 academic year. Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 can apply on the admission portal starting August 6. Registration remains open until August 12 (with the online application window closing at 11:59 p.m.), while document upload and fee payment must be completed by August 13. Both sources note that registration is treated as complete only after successful payment of the prescribed fee.
The process includes document verification at scrutiny centres between August 7 and August 14. A provisional list of registered candidates and a provisional merit list are scheduled to be published on August 15, followed by a grievance redressal window on August 16 and 17. The final merit list and seat matrix are planned for August 18. CAP Round 1 seat allotment results will be declared on August 23.
After seat allotment, candidates must report to their allotted colleges with original documents and required fees during the college reporting phase, after which admissions proceed through subsequent reporting steps as per the timetable. Separate registration with the Maharashtra State Competent Authority is required for State Quota applicants, regardless of All India Quota registration.
