The programme targets a major increase in CBG output and supports scaling the sector through measures intended to make production more viable for plant operators and farmers supplying feedstock. Sources describe the scheme as establishing a dedicated framework for “CBG Offtake Assurance,” which is designed to give producers a reliable and predictable market. Provisions also include stable or assured pricing mechanisms and capital support to improve and scale infrastructure. The scheme further focuses on improving pipeline and connectivity so CBG can be transported and used more effectively. Collectively, the policy package is presented as a way to reduce market uncertainty, encourage investment, and support feedstock supply from rural producers.
