The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it has completed full uploading of its candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal ahead of the 2027 general elections. In a statement issued on Friday, APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda announced that the party achieved “100% upload” of all its governorship and deputy governorship candidates, along with its State House of Assembly candidates.
According to the statement, APC uploaded 56 governorship and deputy governorship candidates and 1,015 State House of Assembly candidates to the INEC portal. Yilwatda congratulated party leaders, members, and candidates nationwide for reaching the milestone and described the completion of the exercise as a sign of the party’s preparedness for the next phase of the electoral process.
After completing the upload, the APC said it will shift attention to engaging Nigerians in the run-up to the polls, while also promoting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, as reflected in the statement.
