SBI opens applications for 1,538 Junior Associate backlog vacancies for 2026

SBI Clerk Notification 2026 Out: The Preliminary Examination is tentatively scheduled for September 2026, while the Main Examination is expected to be held in October/November 2026.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026: The State Bank of India (SBI) has started the online application process for the recruitment of 1,538 Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill backlog vacancies reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates.The online registration process commenced on August 7, 2026, and will remain open until August 27, 2026. Candidates can apply for vacancies in only one state or union territory (UT). Of the total vacancies, 207 are reserved for SC, 1,219 for ST, and 112 for OBC candidates.
