A 24-year-old law graduate dies after jumping from the 13th floor of an apartment in Bandra East, Mumbai. Police say the incident follows alleged threats that caused him severe stress, and they register a case of abetment of suicide. The man lived with his parents and younger brother. He is taken to a nearby hospital, where he is declared dead.

According to reports, the deceased was allegedly threatened by two women who told him they would “frame” him in a police case. The stress reportedly becomes apparent to his mother, who later confronts him after receiving information from others. One account also says the mother receives a call related to the man’s alleged relationship while studying in Bengaluru, after which threats are said to escalate.

Following the death, the mother approaches Kherwadi Police Station and files an FIR against the two women. Police also record that a text message related to the case was sent to the younger brother’s phone by one of the accused. Details of the investigation are awaited, and outlets largely focus on the alleged threats while not yet providing verified motives beyond the reported stress.
