Both outlets link the transfer to Diomande’s recent international involvement: he represents Ivory Coast and featured at the World Cup earlier this summer. Yahoo Sports also adds that manager Oliver Glasner is continuing to shape the team’s recruitment. The two reports differ mainly in reported fee figures and currency conversion, with Yahoo citing £34 million while The Athletic uses a €40 million valuation.
