The Philippine weather bureau (Pagasa) keeps a red rainfall warning in parts of Luzon as heavy rain continues to be expected under the southwest monsoon (“habagat”). In earlier advisories, Pagasa warns of widespread severe flooding and heightened landslide risk for areas in Zambales and Tarlac, as well as heavy rainfall in specific municipalities.
By Sunday evening, Pagasa reports the red warning remains in additional locations across Zambales and Tarlac, while other Luzon areas shift to lower warning levels such as orange and yellow. Later updates also indicate that some red warnings are lifted in certain provinces, while orange rainfall warnings remain in effect in parts of Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, and Bulacan.

All accounts, however, trace the same driver—enhanced habagat—and consistently emphasize flood and landslide hazards where red warnings are still raised.
