Mamata Banerjee’s SUV attacked during visit to TMC worker’s family in North 24 Parganas

Mamata Banerjee's faced an attack by protesters in Halisahar, North 24 Parganas. Protesters surrounded her SUV and allegedly hurled stones and mud at it. Banerjee was visiting to meet the family of a TMC worker who died in custody. She alleged a conspiracy and stated the police remained silent spectators. The BJP condemned the attack while denying any involvement in the incident.
