Benue State PDP governorship candidate Michael Aondoakaa denies claims that he, Samuel Ortom and George Akume agreed to support ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar ahead of the 2027 elections. Aondoakaa says there was no meeting, negotiation, or political arrangement involving the three leaders for Atiku’s ambition.
The allegations are attributed to a group identified as the International Centre for Transparency Nigeria (ICTN), which says the leaders reached an understanding. Aondoakaa rejects the report as unverified and without evidence, saying the group has not shown when any discussion occurred or what role he supposedly played. He also dismisses the group as faceless and argues that naming prominent figures cannot make the claims factual.
