Police in Imo State say they neutralise a suspected bandit kingpin known as Ojiogu Martin, alias ‘Acid’, during a pre-dawn raid. The operation is reported to take place in or around the suspected gang leader’s hideout, where officers carry out the arrest operation and recover items linked to the group.
According to the police accounts cited by both outlets, the suspects’ alleged activities include involvement in multiple violent incidents, including murders. One report says the police recover an AK-47 rifle, several magazines, and live ammunition at the location.
