Shankesh Jewellers, a Mumbai-based jewellery wholesaler, says its ₹367 crore initial public offering (IPO) opens for subscription on August 18. The company fixes the price band at ₹88–₹93 per equity share, with bidding running for three days and closing on August 20. It also schedules anchor investor bidding for August 17.
The IPO includes a fresh issue of up to 2.95 crore equity shares and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 1 crore equity shares. Sources report that proceeds from the fresh issue will be used to repay or prepay borrowings, fund working capital needs, and for general corporate purposes. The offering reserves 50% of shares for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), 15% for non-institutional investors (NIIs), and 35% for retail investors. At the upper end of the price band, the issue size is reported as about ₹367 crore; at the lower end, about ₹347 crore.
Shares are proposed to be listed on both BSE and NSE on August 25, with Aryaman Financial Services and Smart Horizon Capital Advisors as book-running lead managers and KFin Technologies as registrar.
