Sunshine Pictures Ltd, promoted by Vipul Shah, launches an initial public offering (IPO) for subscription on August 18. The three-day public issue runs through August 20, with anchor investor bidding scheduled for August 17, according to an IPO notice.
The offer size is reported at ₹282 crore, consisting of a fresh issue of 48,00,034 equity shares and an offer for sale (OFS) of 30,37,157 equity shares, for a total of 78,37,191 shares. The price band is set at ₹342–₹360 per share. Promoters Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Shefali Vipul Shah sell shares through the OFS, with allocations specified for each promoter. The company plans to use up to ₹112.50 crore from the fresh issue for long-term working capital, with the rest directed to general corporate purposes.
Shares are set to be listed on both the BSE and NSE on August 25. Retail investors are allocated 35% of the issue, with 50% reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) and 15% for non-institutional investors (NIIs). Reported implied post-issue valuations range from about ₹1,065 crore at the lower end to around ₹1,121 crore at the upper end of the price band, depending on pricing.
