Cyberabad police have issued a look-out notice for Bandi Sai Bhageerath, the son of Union minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar, in connection with a POCSO case. Investigators are using digital records, including call detail records (CDR) and IP addresses, to trace his location and identify his associates or possible links.
The allegation against Bandi Sai Bhageerath involves offences under the POCSO law, including alleged sexual harassment and the act of outraging the modesty of a minor. One report specifies the victim as a 17-year-old girl.
News outlets further report that a previous effort to secure relief for the accused did not succeed, and the matter proceeds with police actions such as the look-out notice to prevent him from leaving while investigations continue.
