According to the reports, Hockey Canada extends bans for three players for specified periods. Michael McLeod’s suspension runs until Nov. 10, 2030, Dillon Dubé’s until that same date in 2028, and Carter Hart’s until that same date in 2027. Cal Foote remains suspended, but his restriction is set to end this November.
Outlets agree on the overall outcome: four players’ bans continue in some form, with only Formenton returning immediately. The differing emphasis is mainly on the length of the extensions and the timeline for reinstatement, rather than on any change to the underlying Hockey Canada decision.
