The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has requested that one of the India–Afghanistan T20 Internationals be moved to September 14, in order to coincide with Ganesh Chaturthi. Both outlets report that the ACB’s proposal is linked to adding a cultural element to the bilateral series.
The series is scheduled to be played in New Delhi across three dates, with the venues reported as the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium. Current proposed match dates are September 13, 15, and 17, but talks are underway about shifting one of the first two matches to September 14 if the date is finalised.
