iQOO is preparing to launch the Neo11 Ultra and Z11s in China on August 18, and has now announced the chipsets that will power the two phones. The company says the Neo11 Ultra will use a custom MediaTek Dimensity 9500M chipset with an octa-core, all-big-core CPU design, built on a 3nm process.

iQOO also describes performance and efficiency upgrades tied to its own “Monster” engine. According to iQOO, the new Monster Hyper-Core / Monster Super Core Engine is integrated into the Dimensity 9500M chip, and is intended to improve performance while maintaining power efficiency. NDTV and GSMArena both report iQOO’s claims about enhanced performance and energy savings, but focus slightly differently on the co-development and branding of the engine.

Beyond the Neo11 Ultra details, GSMArena also reports iQOO has shared that the Z11s uses a separate chipset configuration, though NDTV’s excerpt is focused on the Neo11 Ultra specifically.
