The observers specifically focus on the transmission of polling unit results, urging seamless electronic submission to the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV) with adequate backup for the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS). They also ask INEC to publish clear end-to-end protocols, including how electronic EC8A forms are handled and validated. They further request that ward EC8B and local government EC8C collation sheets be published on IReV alongside polling unit results, to allow verification at each stage.
On broader election conduct, outlets report the EU-SDGN EOH also calls for INEC to deploy trained personnel and provide support for women, youths, and persons with disabilities.
