India’s merchandise exports in 2025-26 (FY26) total $441.78 billion, with North America, North-East Asia and Latin America together contributing more than 35% of the total, according to commerce ministry data reported by multiple outlets. The figures show that North America remains the largest individual destination market for Indian exports, accounting for $97.7 billion or 22.1% of overall exports. However, year-on-year growth to North America is reported as relatively moderate at 1.3%, suggesting a more mature but steady demand base.

The data also points to faster growth in some other regions. Exports to East Africa rise 13.7% to $12.6 billion, increasing its share of India’s exports to 2.9%. North Africa exports expand 14.8% to $8 billion, taking a 1.8% share. Officials characterize the overall export pattern as increasingly geographically diversified, with growth across regions in Asia, Africa and Latin America occurring even amid disruptions in global trade conditions.
