Post-hardcore musician Guy Picciotto records his first vocal performance in about 25 years for Evil Island’s new song “T-Hexx.” The track appears on the band’s debut album, Terraform: The Afterlife, released with production credits for Ross Robinson.

Multiple outlets frame the release as a collaboration that brings Picciotto back to fronting after his last recorded vocal appearance on Fugazi’s 2001 album The Argument. Alternative Press also reports that during the album’s preproduction, vocalist Johnny Whitney tried to emulate Picciotto’s vocal style, which led the band to reach out about a collaboration.

Consequence similarly highlights Picciotto’s long absence from recorded vocals and presents “T-Hexx” as the centerpiece of the new Ross Robinson-produced album. The coverage focuses on the significance of Picciotto’s return, while both sources align on the song title, album association, and the broad timeline of his prior vocal recording.
