Google is adding user controls to remove visible watermarks from certain AI-generated media made through Gemini and related tools. The change introduces a new “Media watermark” setting that can be toggled off for outputs including images, videos, and music.
When the setting is disabled, Google removes the visible “sparkle” watermark that appears in the bottom-right corner of generated media. The update applies not only to Gemini, but also to Google’s AI video generator, Flow, according to reports.
