Disney Theatrical Group’s stage adaptation of “The Greatest Showman” is scheduled to open in London’s West End at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in Spring 2027. The move follows a sold-out run in Bristol at the Bristol Hippodrome, where the production played earlier this year.

The musical’s stars Oliver Tompsett and Samantha Barks will return to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane to reprise their roles as P.T. Barnum and Charity Barnum. The Guardian also reports that several other Bristol cast members will transfer, including Ben Joyce (Phillip Carlyle), Vajèn van den Bosch (Jenny Lind), and Malinda Parris (Lettie Lutz). Outlets frame the announcement around the production’s West End arrival after its Bristol success, with the timing and returning cast serving as the main shared points, while details about who joins beyond the leads are emphasized more in the Culture report.

The show is based on the 2017 20th Century Studios film and features the musical’s existing chart-topping soundtrack as its source material for the stage version.
