Osun State Governor and Accord Party governorship candidate Ademola Adeleke says problems are affecting the ongoing gubernatorial election, alleging failures of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BIVAS) and intimidation of voters at some polling units.

Adeleke tells Osun Radio he has received multiple complaints that BIVAS machines operate slowly or do not work properly, leading to delays as voters wait to be accredited. He also alleges that thugs disrupt voting in parts of Osun, specifically citing incidents in Olorunda and Irewole Local Government Areas, and mentions a person identified as Enuku and associates.

Both outlets report Adeleke’s criticism of security deployment, including claims that police actions are biased toward the APC. In response, he urges supporters to remain calm, vote, and protect their ballots. The reports note that the allegations are not independently verified at the time of publication, and they do not provide official confirmation or outcomes from election monitors or authorities.
