The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the provisional answer key and recorded responses for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 on August 16. The CSIR-NET examination is held on July 17 and July 18. Candidates can review the provisional key through the official portal and, within the notified period, challenge any answers they believe are incorrect.

NTA also provides an objection process for the provisional key, with a stated fee of Rs 200 per question and a deadline of August 18 at 11:00 PM. NDTV and Times of India both direct candidates to check and download the key and use the objection mechanism via the official website.

In addition, Times of India reports that NTA is releasing answer keys for ICAR examinations in the same cycle, including ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF/SRF (PhD) 2026, which are conducted on July 4. Times of India further says final scorecards, merit lists, and ranks are expected in the last week of August, while the ICAR answer key release is also scheduled around this time.
