Pakistani TikToker Ayesha Gilamana, also reported to have been known as Shamsu Bibi, is shot dead in Taxila on August 14 at age 28. Police say unidentified gunmen fire on the vehicle she is travelling in, and her family files a complaint describing the circumstances leading up to the attack. Her younger sister is reported to be seriously injured.

According to the complaint cited by outlets, Gilamana receives a phone call from a man identified as Kashif (“Kashi”) asking her to come outside, before she leaves her home with her 15-year-old sister and brother. Her father identifies her at THQ Hospital Taxila’s mortuary and says the driver loses control after shots are fired from a motorcycle, resulting in a collision. Sources also report CCTV footage that appears to show two men fleeing on a motorcycle.

Outlet coverage focuses on the police investigation and the use of CCTV to identify the attackers, while also including allegations in the complaint about prior financial disputes and alleged death threats involving named individuals. Police are still working to determine motives and confirm suspects.
