In Varanasi, a group of about 15 youths vandalize a restaurant after they are allegedly denied Maggi/noodles late Saturday. Police and the outlets report that the youths assault restaurant staff and damage the premises. CCTV footage is said to show the sequence of events.
The group then sets a car parked outside the eatery on fire, leading to significant damage. Later, the same youths are reported to assault another restaurant employee, demanding extortion money. Authorities say complaints are filed by restaurant owners and that police are investigating the accused, including reviewing CCTV and collecting statements to identify the individuals involved.
