Rajasthan’s education department issues a directive limiting entry of outsiders into government schools unless they have permission from the principal. The order comes hours after the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) announces it will conduct school inspections across parts of the state.
According to the CJP, the inspections will focus on dilapidated government schools in nine districts over about two weeks. The party’s volunteers plan to document issues affecting students and raise concerns about pending repairs, saying administrative demands have been ignored. The group also warns of a larger movement if authorities do not present a plan to carry out classroom repairs.
The outlets also note that the CJP frames the campaign as continuing regardless of state action. Scroll.in reports the party says it will not stop its inspections even if the government arrests its team, while Times of India highlights the state’s step to restrict outsiders’ access to campuses in advance of the campaign.
