In his resignation letter, he thanks BJP president Nitin Nabin and other senior leaders, including Modi and Amit Shah, as well as Rajnath Singh and B.L. Santosh.
Outlet accounts also note his plan to move to the private sector. One report says he had updated his profile on X in the days before the resignation by removing the “BJP national spokesperson” designation, while continuing to describe himself as a lifelong follower of Modi.
