Delhi’s cleanest ward is set to receive Rs 1 crore every month under a new scheme announced by the Delhi government, according to the Chief Minister’s Office. The award is tied to monthly rankings, with the top-rated ward getting the monthly payment.

A ward identified as cleanest each month can receive up to Rs 12 crore over the course of a year through CMDF allocations, based on 12 monthly awards.
