Indian-origin jazz musician Pritesh Walia is released after being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in California. According to a statement attributed to him and shared through his girlfriend, Walia says he is unexpectedly detained after returning to Los Angeles on August 2. He is taken into custody and transferred to the Adelanto ICE Processing Centre.
