Crypto exchange Kraken launches trading of US-listed, conventional stocks for eligible customers across the European Economic Area (EEA), using its European entity. The move expands what the firm offers to EEA users, adding traditional US share trading alongside its existing products.

Multiple outlets describe Kraken’s rollout as available to eligible EEA customers in all EEA member countries. Cointelegraph reports that users can trade US shares in addition to Kraken’s tokenized “xStocks,” with coverage stated as including more than 700 tokenized instruments. The Block frames the development more broadly as an expansion of US stock trading availability, without detailing the tokenized portfolio size.
