Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrests Lagos-based socialite and social media figure KC Luxury and seizes a large cocaine consignment. Multiple reports say NDLEA makes the seizure as part of what it describes as its biggest courier-related operation, taking 184.5kg of cocaine.

According to the outlets, two suspects are arrested in connection with the case, including KC Luxury (reported as Afolabi Kazeem). One report adds that KC Luxury is held at the Lagos airport on August 13 while allegedly attempting to leave Nigeria for Paris. NDLEA officials also cite the estimated value of the drugs, with one outlet putting it at about N39 billion.

While the accounts emphasize NDLEA’s claim of dismantling a larger drug trafficking effort or cartel, they converge on the central points: KC Luxury is arrested in Lagos, NDLEA seizes 184.5kg of cocaine, and the operation is presented as a record courier bust. The reports frame the arrests within broader ongoing concerns about drug trafficking in Nigeria.
