Domestic donations to the PM CARES Fund decrease by about 30% to ₹479 crore in FY25, according to reporting cited by The Hindu. The figure reflects a decline in contributions from domestic sources compared with the previous fiscal year.
The same reporting shows foreign contributions also decline sharply after earlier peaks. Foreign donations are reported at ₹495 crore in 2020-21, before dropping to ₹40 crore and then further to ₹2.57 crore in the subsequent two years. The data indicates a broad fall in total giving to the fund from both domestic and international donors over the period covered.
