The Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) lands its first primary listings after Texas Capital Bancshares announces that two exchange-traded funds (ETFs) will move their primary trading venue to TXSE. The transfers are set to take effect on Sept. 16, with the ETFs becoming the first to designate TXSE as their main place of trading.

The move is framed as an early milestone for the upstart exchange as it seeks to build liquidity and attract additional products. Bloomberg characterizes the listings as focused on ETFs tied to Texas’s economy, positioning them as small funds making the switch. The Globe and Mail similarly reports the first primary listings and highlights the strategic intent of carving out market “turf” as TXSE begins to establish a track record for primary market designation.
