Taylor Sheridan says a planned Yellowstone spinoff focused on the real-life Four Sixes Ranch, known as “6666,” will not move forward. In a recent interview, the Yellowstone co-creator states, “There’s never going to be one,” adding that he would “never do that” in reference to the previously discussed project.
The comments respond to earlier reporting and announcements that Paramount+ could develop a fictional series tied to the Texas ranch. Both outlets frame the development as a direct shutdown of the project rather than a delay. They differ mainly in phrasing and emphasis, with one outlet focusing on Sheridan’s stated boundaries around spinoffs and the other summarizing that the spinoff is not happening at Paramount+.
Taken together, the reports indicate that the “6666” concept is being ruled out by Sheridan, despite prior public discussion of a spinoff connected to the Four Sixes Ranch.
