‘Spirit’ and Salman Khan’s Eid 2027 films face possible box-office timing clash

New developments indicate that Sandeep Reddy Vanga's ambitious project 'Spirit' may not meet its planned Eid 2027 release date, offering Salman Khan a chance to dominate the holiday box office on his own. However, T-Series is adamant about the film's March 5, 2027 timeline. Challenges remain with unfinished filming and Prabhas's packed agenda, leading producers to consider a June 2027 alternative for its launch.

Earlier this year, the makers of Spirit announced that their film would hit the big screens on March 5, 2027, which is Eid weekend. A few months ago, Salman Khan also announced that his upcoming movie with Vamshi Paidipally (SVC63) will be released on Eid 2027. While the exact release date of SVC63 has not yet been announced, it might be Salman Vs Prabhas at the box office during the Eid weekend next year.Recently, there were reports that the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial might be postponed. However, a T-Series spokesperson told Times Now that Spirit is on track and it will release on March 5, 2027. The spokesperson said, "There is absolutely no change to the announced release date. We are working as per schedule and are gearing up to bring the film to audiences worldwide on March 5, 2027."
