Hyundai Motor India says it will raise vehicle prices across its portfolio by up to 1% effective September 2026. The company frames the change as a marginal retail price revision.

Hyundai attributes the increase to persistent input and commodity cost pressures, alongside geopolitical and broader macroeconomic uncertainties. The automaker says it continues to optimize costs and absorb part of the escalations, but that ongoing pressures require passing on a portion to customers.

The reports also note that this is Hyundai’s third price move in 2026. Economic Times says the company raised prices by 0.6% from January 1 and announced another up to 1% hike in April, later implemented in June. Other outlets describe the September increase but focus primarily on the reasons given for the adjustment and the timing, without adding detailed past figures. Other Indian automakers have also raised prices in 2026 amid similar cost pressures, according to Economic Times.
