Police in Toronto say they are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a six-year-old child. Police were called to Roundhouse Park in the CityPlace area of downtown Toronto on Aug. 18 at about 4:15 p.m., near the Rogers Centre and Steamwhistle.
According to reports, the child was in the park at the time of the incident. City News Toronto reports the child was playing trains when the alleged suspect approached. Global News Canada reports the incident based on the initial police call and the location but provides fewer additional details about what led to the alleged assault.
Both outlets identify the matter as an alleged sexual assault and reference the same time and general area. Police are seeking the suspect and continuing the investigation as the search proceeds.
