Samsung’s upcoming One UI 9.5 is reportedly set to include an AI tool that lets users create custom home-screen widgets by describing what they want in plain language. The feature is referred to in a leak as “My Custom Widget,” and screenshots shared by a tipster show a workflow where an input description results in a widget placed on the home screen.

The reports link the expected functionality to Google’s recently announced “Create My Widget” under Gemini Intelligence, which similarly converts a natural-language request into a widget. Android Authority and GSMArena both frame the Samsung feature as an apparent answer to Google’s capability. However, the outlets differ slightly in emphasis: one notes the similarity and positions it as a direct comparison, while the other highlights uncertainty over whether Samsung’s tool is simply a rebranding of Google’s feature or a separate implementation.

Both accounts are based on leaked information and do not confirm when One UI 9.5 will arrive, how the feature will work across devices, or whether it will match Google’s underlying system.
