Dust, a Paris- and San Francisco-based enterprise AI platform, raises a $40 million Series B to develop “workspace AI” infrastructure designed for enterprise teams. The round is co-led by Sequoia Capital and Abstract Ventures, with participation from Snowflake and Datadog. The company says the new funding brings its total investment to over $60 million. Dust was founded in 2023 by Stanislas Polu, a former OpenAI employee, and Gabriel Hubert, formerly at Stripe and Alan.
Dust focuses on “multiplayer” or shared agentic systems, where teams use the same AI agents, context, and tools through governed access. The premise is to move beyond today’s common enterprise AI pattern, in which AI use is largely limited to individual, single-user chat experiences. Instead, Dust’s approach aims to let AI usage and knowledge compound across teams by relying on shared infrastructure rather than isolated assistant experiences.
Both outlets describe the same investment round size, the lead investors, and the participating companies, and they frame the funding as support for Dust’s effort to advance enterprise AI toward collaborative, organizational workflows.
