Nike launches the Pegasus Plus 2, a new addition to its long-running Pegasus line, positioned as a tempo trainer. The shoe features a visible curved Air Zoom unit in the forefoot and a ZoomX foam midsole. Nike says the combination delivers at least 18% more energy return than the first-generation Pegasus Plus.

Nike also refines the fit and ride characteristics. The company highlights a newer MR10 2.0 last with a roomier forefoot and toe box, along with pressure-tuned Air Zoom technology across sizes. The design includes an updated waffle outsole with new flex zones, aimed at improving flexibility.

Outlet coverage aligns on the core technology and launch positioning. The Times of India reports the model has no carbon plate and that it will be available on nike.com and selected retailers in late August, with India pricing not yet announced. NDTV similarly describes the curved Air Zoom and ZoomX midsole features and focuses on the claimed performance gains and updated components.
