Guyana’s Ministry of Natural Resources says the government welcomes the arrival of Errea Wittu, the country’s fifth and largest Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel. The ministry statement reports that the FPSO will support oil production rising to more than one million barrels per day.

According to both outlets, Errea Wittu is being built by MODEC for the Uaru development in the Stabroek Block. INews Guyana attributes remarks to Natural Resources Minister Bharrat, describing the arrival as an “important chapter” in Guyana’s story. Guyana Chronicle presents the government statement text, emphasizing the vessel’s role in expanding production capacity. The outlets largely align on the vessel’s identity, purpose, builder, and the production target, with differences mainly in wording and framing.
