India and Mauritius sign a long-term fuel supply agreement that ensures Mauritius receives its required fuels from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). The pact covers motor spirit (petrol), high speed diesel (diesel), and aviation turbine fuel, with IOC supplying Mauritius’ entire import requirement.
The deal is described by outlets as spanning five years, framed as a way to provide consistent fuel availability for Mauritius while reducing exposure to price swings.
