Yoga guru and businessman Baba Ramdev responds to BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut following her sharp criticism of his comment about Gen Z, in which she attacked him over his “gutter generation” remark. In a post on X, Ramdev says he does not want to escalate the issue and declines to comment further, adding that the country knows his contributions.

The dispute follows days after Ramdev criticized Ranaut in an interview, arguing that describing the youth as “gutter” reflects a “distorted mind.” Ramdev also questioned Ranaut’s past and, when informed she follows his yoga practices and identifies as a Sanatani, asked whether praising his yoga implied she should “cover up their sins.” Ranaut later replies via an Instagram story, accusing Ramdev of making assumptions about her personal life and saying he should not lecture her about her character, while also referencing past Supreme Court criticism regarding alleged misleading medical claims by Patanjali.

While both outlets report Ramdev’s decision not to continue the exchange, one also includes additional remarks attributed to him about cultural themes such as Vande Mataram and broader calls for reforms in education, healthcare, agriculture and the economy.
